What began as a flash of red fruit beside the path became an ongoing mini-study of Freycinetia scandens. This entry gathers sketches, photographs, and field notes from repeated encounters with the plant, exploring its structure, reproduction, and habitat in a sub-tropical Queensland rainforest remnant.
