About me

Field journal study, Sunshine Coast

I’m a watercolour painter based on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland, Australia. Much of my work explores animals, portraits, and observations from the natural world. Quillshadow is a place where I share paintings and field journal studies.

I enjoy working in watercolour for its spontaneity and the way it captures light, colour, and texture. Alongside traditional painting, I also experiment with AI-assisted imagery and visual storytelling. The site brings together these different creative threads — observation, illustration, and imagination.

I’m also interested in using illustration and diagrams to explore complex ideas visually.

You can follow my latest work on Instagram, and prints of selected images are available through my Redbubble store.
