The Boy and the Strawberry Dragon

Deep in a garden, where dreams come alive,

Where the strawberries giggle and bumblebees jive,

There grew a fruit, so plump and sweet,

That housed a secret, a magical feat.

Inside this berry, a boy made his nest,

Curled up in warmth, where the world felt its best.

Beside him lay a dragon, tiny and grand,

With scales like the stars and fire in hand.

The boy whispered softly, “Oh, dragon so small,

How did you come to this strawberry hall?”

The dragon replied with a flick of his tail,

“I fled from the clouds, where storms often wail.”

“I sought a home where peace would reign,

Where no one would fear my fiery mane.”

The boy smiled wide, his heart full of cheer,

“You’ve found the right place—stay with me here.”

So they spun their tales and sang through the night,

Under the berry’s glow, soft and light.

And though the world was vast and wide,

They needed no more than their strawberry hide.

For in that fruit, so cozy and small,

They found adventure, love, and all.

And if you listen in the garden’s embrace,

You might hear their laughter in that magical place.
